About Email Exchange

Purpose Email Exchange exists in order to facilitate communication among former friends and associates.
It also enhances communications between CRC officers, directors and chapter retirees.
Benefits Provides reduced mailing and telephone costs for users.
Eligibility Any former Carbider (retired or not) or surviving spouse is eligible to participate in the CRC Email Exchange.
Ground Rules The Email Exchange list information is displayed on the website without the email address thus keeping this information confidential.
Registered members of Email Exchange may utilize the system to contact listed retirees.
Commercial use is prohibited.

Browse Email Exchange

Browse the Listing When the Email Exchange page is first displayed the list of members is displayed in alphabetic order by last name. You can navigate through this listing by clicking the navigation links located at the top left and/or bottom left of the listing.
You can also sort the listing by any of the column headings. Click the heading and the list will be in ascending order by that heading. If you click the same heading again it will sort in descending order.
Filter List Browse To speed up browsing you may use the filtered browse listing. Click on the 'Filter' link at the top of the page. This will redisplay the listing and display a drop down field for entering the filter value. Select a value from the list and the display will then list only members with last names starting with the selected value.
You may reselect a filter value at any time and the display will refresh using the new selected value.

Contact Member of Email Exchange

Contact a Retiree on the List If you desire to contact a retiree on the list click the 'Contact' link in the first column of the row with the retiree's name. This will display a contact form. Enter your contact information. When complete submit the form by clicking the 'Submit' button and an email will be sent to your requested contact with your information. The requested contact can then contact you as he/she wishes.
A confirmation message will be displayed when the contact request has been sucessfully mailed.
Form Field errors You may receive error messages for incomplete data or errors in the form fields. If so correct the information and resubmit the form.
Member Validation You may receive a message stating you are not on the Email Exchange.
You must be registered to utilize the contact process. If you are on the Exchange list you may have used a different email address.
You can register or revise your email address on the exchange. See 'Register' or 'Update Member Information'.

Register/Modify Member Data

Register To register for the Email Exchange,  click on the 'Register' link and a new browser window will display the Registration Form. Complete and submit the form by clicking the 'Submit' button. This will send the information to the Email Exchange Aministrator.
Undeliverable E-Mails will be dropped from the list.
Modify Member Information
To modify your data on the E-Mail Xchg list, Click on the 'Update Info' link and a new browser window will display the Update Form. Complete and submit the form by clicking the 'Submit' button.
This will send the information to the Email Exchange Aministrator.
Chg Email To change your email address on the E-Mail Xchg list, Click on the 'Chg Email' link and a new browser window will display the Change Email Form. Complete and submit the form by clicking the 'Submit' button.
This will send the information to the Email Exchange Aministrator.
Remove Member To remove yourself from the Email Xchg list, Click on the 'Remove Yourself' link and a new browser window will display the Remove Form. Complete and submit the form by clicking the 'Submit' button. This will send the information to the E-Mail Exchange Aministrator.
Timing It may take up to 48 hours for changes to be processed and the information revised on the database. The last date modified for the database is displayed above the Exchange listing.
